Anyone have good experience with the invisible fence? If you have a good brand, please forward me the info and thanks.

My friend has a fence and we were over at her house last night, and she was having problems because the dog would get shocked just going off of the porch. Which should not have happened.

I'm opposed, on moral grounds, to electric fences. Granted it's better than letting the dog roam with the potential for getting hurt...but I think good old fashioned fences and training are much better.

I would not ever subject my dogs to being electrically shocked. I know that these things malfunction, and even when they don't, it's still inhumane. I wouldn't shock my child, I'm not going to allow my dog to get shocked.
