Has anyone had their dog really talk to them? I have a lab named lady that if i baby talk to her she will groan back. My husband thinks i stay home too much and i talk her head off because he is at work. Do you really think your dog is trying to talk to you at times? What and how does the dog act?

I wouldn't say he talks to me but when I talk to my dog sometimes she will make eye contact with me and bark and it almost feels like she is trying to tell me something.

I can't say that my dog has really verbally talked to me. But I completely believe that he understands what I am saying.

I had a Doxie in college who used to screech at the top of her lungs, when ever someone would ring the door chimes. Very cute I thought.

I believe my dog understands what I say and tries to talk back to me. I also believe she is smarter than I am because she understands my language but I don't get hers.

I did have a cat once who could say "no", "mama" "now" "don't" and "Help me" as clear as I could. It was freaky....
