They let people take their human children....
Ah anyway, I read someplace that Google allows this. My dogs are allowed at my workplace...but I work from home so it's not an issue. A friend of mine runs a bookstore that does the best business in town and it's competing with 2 chain stores. Her secret? Her dogs and cat all wander through the store. Customers love it!

She calls them her security system.....security against going broke!  Grin

I love this idea too. I work at home also, so my lab is right here by my side all the time. Besides she is great company when my 3 year old decides to take a nap. I even confide in her cause i know she won't tell anyone what we talk about.

For years, my hubby had a nite job to supplement our income, and he worked as a maintence worker, and he was allowed to take our Lab, with him . Great to work with.

I think that this is a good idea but I wonder what the people who are allergic to dogs would do? That and if a dog did hurt someone. I do like the idea though.

I'm not really sure what I think about this yet. While it is a good idea if you have our own personal space to keep them, if they will be in contact with others, it should be at least a bit limited. If they will interfere with the work or the others at your workplace, I would say it's not a good idea.

The more I think about it I just don't think that I would personally want to take my dog to work with me. I cannot help but wonder what the people that don't like dogs think about this though?
